5G is the fifth generation telecommunications technology standard for broadband cell phone networks.
This standard is based on the requirements defined by ITU (International Telecommunication Union), called IMT-2020, having as key aspects:
- Enhanced mobile broadband
- Ultra reliable and low latency
- Massive machine-type communication
The 5G laboratory brings the most modern technology in terms of simulation, exercise and analysis of terminal equipment that use this technology, following the 3GPP standards defined for the 5G technology.
