Instituto ELDORADO was one of the sponsors of ExpoAmazônia Bio&TIC, the North region’s top innovation, technology and bioeconomy event held at Amazonas Convention Center in Manaus from June 30 to July 2.
The fair brought together companies, institutions, startups, universities, incubators, and accelerators to attend speeches, panels, roundtables and arenas for programming challenges and hackathons. Its objective was to mobilize the innovation ecosystem with discussions and opportunities involving social and economic development for the Amazon region.
ELDORADO Stand
ELDORADO’s Manaus unit was present in several of the event’s spheres. At our stand, visitors could attend a special program of lectures delivered by experts on subjects such as 5G, embedded software, firmware development, analytics/Android, automated testing, career transitions, image processing and computational vision.
Our proposal was to extend the frontiers of knowledge and show visitors new potential in the technology market. They could also learn more about the Institute’s solutions as well as business and career opportunities.
Knowledge Trails
ELDORADO professionals delivered lectures on Knowledge Trails at ExpoAmazônia Bio&TIC. “How to get started in User Experience Design (UX)” was the theme of the meeting with specialists Wilson Prata and Karine Arruda on the first day of the event.
On the 30th, the Institute’s Head of New Business, Vinicius Pagano, talked about the Culture of Innovation in Education and the Market, also as part of the Knowledge Trail program.
In his lecture, Product Technologies Executive José Bertuzzo explored ICT Applications for the Bioeconomy as part of the Disruptive Technologies Knowledge Trail.
Amazon Code Challenge
On July 1st and 2nd, Amazon Code Challenge Arena participants were able to test their programming knowledge and ability to solve computational problems on the lines of computing marathons using equipment developed by ELDORADO. Winners took home prizes such as smartphones and smartwatches.
